In the latest part of our series of Q&As with the cast and crew of Once Bitten… we would like to introduce you to our fabulous make-up artist Charlotte Maclaine<\/em><\/p>\n

What is your favourite colour?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have a favourite colour, I like too many!\ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n

What was the first film you worked as a make-up artist on and how old were you?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Technically Once Bitten was the first film set I ever worked on, and I was 23! However I have worked on set for various music videos and photo shoots!<\/p>\n

Who is your role model or inspiration?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019d say my grandma has and always will be my inspiration! She was one of the worlds best people, and I always strive to do the best I can do in memory of her (or at least I try)!<\/p>\n

When did you know you wanted to be a make-up artist?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ever since I was little I\u2019ve always loved hair and beauty, but it wasn\u2019t until about 4 years ago I realised I could turn it into a career and actually go quite far with it!<\/p>\n

What one essential thing do you always have with you when on set?\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Setting spray and a matte powder!<\/p>\n

What is your favourite biscuit?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It has to be an Oreo!<\/p>\n

Name a film which always makes you happy?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Stepbrothers is always a film with makes me laugh!<\/p>\n

Name a film which always makes you cry?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ahhh, Marley and Me makes me cry ever single time!!<\/p>\n

Tea or coffee?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Neither, I\u2019m a bit weird and don\u2019t like any hot drinks!<\/p>\n

What was the best part of working on Once Bitten…?\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The best part about working on Once Bitten was meeting and working with all the cast and crew, everyone was so lovely! It was so refreshing to work with people who are genuinely passionate about what they do!<\/p>\n

What sucked the most about working on Once Bitten…?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The worst part was that the room we were filming in was pretty small, there wasn\u2019t enough room for me to watch and have a nosey at all the scenes being created!<\/p>\n

What are you working on now \/ next?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

At the moment I\u2019m currently finishing up my Level 4 SFX Makeup, and in September I will be starting my teaching degree so I\u2019ll be able to teach others how to do makeup!<\/p>\n

Any advice for aspiring make-up artists?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

My advice for aspiring makeup artists is to never give up. No matter how hard it seems, or how useless something seems, always put 100% into it. Practice, practice, practice, will gain you so much confidence!<\/p>\n
