Mat Johns is a freelance Writer, Director, Cam Op \/ DP\u00a0and Editor\u00a0based in Manchester with\u00a0over 10 years of\u00a0freelance and independent filmmaking experience. Mat’s\u00a0films have been shown at festivals around the world and have also been featured on film websites shortoftheweek.com and aintitcool.com.<\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span>Mat\u00a0recently wrote, directed and edited the award-winning short film A Father’s Day, funded by\u00a0Creative England & BFI.NETWORK.\u00a0The film has\u00a0been distributed across\u00a0streaming services\u00a0by Shorts International\u00a0and\u00a0selected by over 100 film festivals so far;\u00a0including five\u00a0BAFTA qualifying festivals (Encounters, Leeds International, Film Court De Brest, Sydney Film Festival and London Short Film Festival) and three\u00a0of the top horror festivals in the world (Screamfest, Fantasporto, Sacramento Horror Film Festival).<\/p>\n
